  • Optimism reigned at a recent LNG industry conference, where delegates agreed that gas and LNG will have a secure role in European energy for the next two to three decades. This was confirmed by the now four long-term deals clinched so far to supply Europe from the US and Qatar, showing that LNG supplies will arrive past 2040 at the earliest.
