  • Africa is least able to bear any additional costs from a reshuffling of global products markets. The EU’s ban on Russian imports will impact African product markets differently. West and North Africa could receive much larger Russian volumes, while East Africa could suffer as its main suppliers in the Mideast and India direct more products to Europe.
