  • Carbon capture has long suffered from a lack of clear champions and lacked political support to take off in a bigger way. That changed in the US a while ago with the US 45Q credits -- which are now about to be made far more generous. Direct air capture and point-source capture both receive support. Many foresee global ripple effects and mounting investments.
