Tennessee Gas Pipeline has rolled out a novel pooling service for responsibly sourced gas on its system that owner Kinder Morgan hopes will make it "a leader in the energy transition” by fostering transparency and liquidity as the market for cleaner gas develops. The tariff, approved Jun. 30 by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, will enable shippers on TGP to buy and sell gas that has obtained certifications from qualified third-party organizations as meeting certain environmental standards, including emissions intensity, at all non-physical pooling locations on the pipe.
