Late-Week Gas Futures Rally Fails to Overcome Shoulder Season Pressure

US natural gas futures ended the week with a two-day, 9.5¢ rally, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the selling pressure that came earlier in the week. On Friday, the October contract settled up 2.6¢ at $2.605 per million Btu for a one-week decline of 16¢.
