BP Expands Pacific LNG Reach With Woodfibre Deal

BP’s marketing arm has signed a third sale and purchase agreement (SPA) for volumes from the Woodfibre LNG export terminal in Western Canada, placing the project on firm footing as it eyes the start of major construction later this month.

But much of the incremental demand may be met by domestic production, not imported LNG, according to a Moody's affiliate.
