After over a decade of delay, Cyprus is hoping to persuade Israel to combine development of Cypriot and Israeli gas fields with a liquefaction facility located in Cypriot waters that could supply the Mediterranean island and global gas markets. The move comes as Egypt failed to export any LNG this month with fears growing of another gas crunch in the North African state.
