Mountain Valley Faces Much Tougher Market Than Envisioned

It appears the long-delayed Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) will enter service by year’s end after all, thanks to an extraordinary government intervention. But the project faces a far more challenging gas market than its sponsors envisioned, and much of its 2 billion cubic feet per day of capacity will likely go unused — at least for a while.
