July gas futures climbed 7.4¢ Tuesday to $2.34 per million Btu as traders eye the increased gas burns that warmer temperatures will bring. But seasonal maintenance on LNG export plants and elevated storage inventories are keeping prices relatively contained. “Impressive demand is expected to materialize in the next two weeks and a continued price rally to the $2.40/MMBtu price level is well within the realm of possibility,” Gelber & Associates analysts said.
