Japanese explorer JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration has signed a farm-in agreement with TotalEnergies to take a 2.58% stake in the French major’s Block PRL15. The block contains the large onshore Elk-Antelope fields that would feed Total's planned Papua LNG project, expected to be in operation in five or six years.
