Natural gas and LNG demand in Spain is set to increase during the summer on the back of a prolonged drought eating away at hydroelectric power generation and hotter temperatures boosting cooling needs, market sources say. But bearish gas and LNG prices could still hinder the diversion of spot cargoes to meet rising consumption in Southwest Europe.
