Turkey’s plans to become a major regional natural gas hub have been followed closely by market observers to see in what capacity it can sell extra gas to Europe. What kind of hub will end up emerging will determine the country’s importance as a potential key supplier. Current signs do not indicate that the plans are moving in the right direction.
