But while CEO John Hopkins touted the first-of-a-kind deployment of the NuScale SMR in the US state of Idaho as "underway," the US-based SMR vendor still has a long way to go to truly lock in both this and further newbuild projects. Meanwhile NuScale owner Fluor hopes to sell down its stake in the SMR developer to a minority holding by year's end.
