May gas futures slipped 1.6¢ Friday to $2.223 per million Btu as there was little to push the market in either direction. The rally earlier in the week driven by forecasts that had been trending colder "seems to be a blip rather than a long-term indicator," Gelber & Associates analysts said. "Overall, the market still has way too much supply for these small weather runs to significantly affect the supply/demand balance."
