The oil-rich Canadian province of Alberta this week unveiled a sweeping plan to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, although part of that plan is to pressure the federal government to offer better incentives for technologies like carbon capture, utilization and sequestration (CCUS) to encourage investment.
