Pessimism mounted among US oil and natural gas executives in the first quarter of 2023, according to the Dallas Federal Reserve’s latest quarterly energy survey, as domestic upstream growth slowed amid persistent cost inflation, ongoing oil-field labor shortages and rising fears of recession.
