French Protests Disrupt Europe's Jet Trade

Airlines were asked to tanker jet fuel into Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport this week in a bid to maintain minimum operational stocks during mass protests across France. French news reports indicated that jet stocks at Orly airport near Paris were "an issue of particular concern." The news sent jet spot cargo premiums soaring and is threatening to derail industry preparations for a busy summer.
