The Biden administration released its $6.8 trillion budget plan for fiscal year 2024/25 on Thursday. The proposal is focused on boosting climate and clean energy spending and federal staffing in the wake of the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) as well as slashing tax breaks for oil and gas production.
