China Huaneng Group is accelerating plans to build four new Hualong-One reactors at the Shidao Bay site in the northern Chinese province of Shandong, where it claims to have completed the commissioning of a much smaller 200-megawatt demonstration plant consisting of twin-unit high-temperature gas-cooled reactors (HTRs).
