The EU is pulling together fiscal and other policies to support clean industry, months after the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) set off tensions between the two trading partners. The EU has a more robust history of supporting clean technology, and funding opportunities rival what’s available in the US in terms of volume, but the simplified structure of the US tax credits holds appeal for business.
