Draft legislation from the US House of Representatives titled the “Prohibiting Russian Uranium Imports Act” proposes a ban on US imports of low-enriched uranium (LEU) produced in the Russian Federation, but would stop short of imposing sanctions on Russia’s state-owned Rosatom.
