Carbon Removal Way Behind, But No Silver Bullet: Report

While most climate scenarios involve removing huge amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to keep global warming below 2°C, a new report led by Oxford University's Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment found that actual and planned deployment of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies remains far behind what the Paris agreement's goals would require.
