US Natgas Futures Jump as Freeport Restart Nears

US natural gas futures for February jumped by 27.3¢ on Monday to $3.447 per million Btu after Freeport LNG asked US regulators for permission to resume some operations in preparation for the 2 billion cubic foot per day facility's full restart.
