Carbon dioxide removal (CDR) will be essential if the world is to meet net-zero goals, but scaling up CDR is, however, fraught with difficulty. With the right regulatory framework, the pitfalls can be avoided, suggests Kathy Fallon, director of land and climate with the Clean Air Task Force, a global environmental organization that works with industry and other stakeholders to advance climate solutions.
