Bearish optics may have prevented a stronger reversal as mild conditions last week are expected to result in a relatively small storage withdrawal, and the eastern US may not see seasonably cold weather until mid-month. The 12-month strip rose 15.8¢ to $5.032; the 2024 calendar strip was up 2.2¢ to $4.559 (Futures contracts).
