Tons of large-scale uses come from the industrial sector, since few other solutions exist for swapping out coal or diesel in industrial processes. Medium-sized sources of hydrogen demand would include applications such as stationary fuel-cell power, while the small pieces would include light-duty vehicle or small equipment, explains Roxana Bekemohammadi, founder and executive director of the US Hydrogen Alliance.
