Save for later Print Download Share LinkedIn Twitter France's Orano Mining signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Uzbek state-owned Navoiuranium and the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan (GosComGeology), in a “significant broadening of the scope of the collaboration.” With Orano’s help, the country hopes to increase uranium production from 3,526 tons in 2021 to 7,100 tons by 2030.
