Save for later Print Download Share LinkedIn Twitter Kuwait Petroleum Corp. (KPC) has shipped the first jet fuel from its new 615,000 b/d Al-Zour refinery. In a Nov. 27 statement, KPC said the fuel had been loaded onto the LR1 tanker Pacific Sarah in collaboration with Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Co. Tanker tracking suggests the ship is currently heading to Jebel Ali in the United Arab Emirates with just over 40,000 tons of jet onboard. European major Shell is listed as the cargo's owner.
