As completion nears for a project to increase the capacity of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium's (CPC) 1,500 kilometer pipeline bringing Kazakh and Russian oil to world markets, pressure is growing on the consortium's shareholder structure. The pipeline has faced serious disruptions since the Russian invasion of Ukraine nine months ago and speculation over its future could be coming to a head.
