Germany has received the first delivery of hydrogen-based ammonia from the United Arab Emirates last week. The test cargo of a single container of 13 tons of ammonia arrived in Hamburg during a joint ceremony attended by high-ranking officials from both nations. Further ammonia test cargoes are due to arrive in Germany before the end of the year as the countries push for a future hydrogen supply chain. Both countries have also agreed to accelerate other joint energy and industry projects.
