Price Horizon: Analysts Lift Henry Hub Forecasts But Differ on Extent

What a difference a few months can make in the US natural gas market. In March, leading investment banks and consultancies surveyed for Energy Intelligence’s spring Price Horizon survey saw benchmark Henry Hub prices averaging $3.97 per million Btu in 2022 and $3.51/MMBtu in 2023. But by this month many of those same analysts are eying 2022-23 Henry Hub averages of $6.67 and $5.62, respectively.
