US Henry Hub gas futures continued to decline Monday, with the lead November contract dropping 31.1¢ to $6.435/MMBtu. The contract has now fallen 53.9¢ in three sessions and the December through February contracts have lost $7 handles. But a deeper dive by the winter strip would expose winter positions to increasing upside risk. The 12-month strip fell 5.9¢ to $5.692; the 2023 calendar strip rose 0.1¢ to $5.529 (Futures contracts).
