The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will develop its National Hydrogen Strategy in partnership with the German organization Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and global professional services company GHD Group, the UAE ministry of energy and infrastructure announced this week. The partnership was signed on the back of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's visit to the UAE as part of a wider visit to the Mideast Gulf, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The agreement was part of a broader series of deals signed between the two countries including an LNG supply deal between Germany’s RWE and Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc).
