Prelude Restart Helps Asian Spot Prices Fall

Northeast Asia's spot LNG prices have dropped by $2 to $40 per million Btu, according to World Gas Intelligence assessments for deliveries four to eight weeks ahead. Spot prices in Southwest Europe rose by $1.05 to $38.80/MMBtu. Netbacks for Mideast sellers in Asia were about $1.10/MMBtu higher than in Southwest Europe, while UK/Belgian netbacks were $2.12/MMBtu lower than in Asia.
