Aggregate liquids hydrocarbon production among countries not aligned with Opec-plus, excluding refinery gains, was 45.94 million barrels per day in August, according to preliminary data compiled by Energy Intelligence. This is the same level as July. Crude oil output, to be sure, rose nearly 120,000 b/d last month to 32.48 million b/d. But on the whole, after three very busy consecutive months for non-Opec-plus, during which liquids output skyrocketed 1.2 million b/d and reached pre-Covid levels, activity moved sideways in August.
