September gas futures lost 10.6¢ Friday to enter the weekend at $8.768/MMBtu, up 70.4¢ for the week. US natural gas prices have been rising as long-term bearish drivers are being overcome by shorter-term bullish ones. The 12-month strip fell X¢ to $X; the 2023 calendar strip was down X¢ to $X (Futures contracts).
