Global jet fuel consumption adhered to its gradual trajectory in ramping up for the summer travel season. Demand in group of representative countries in May edged up by 4% from the prior month to 3 million b/d. Industrialized nations accounted for most of the volume gain, which pushed fuel usage nearly 40% above year-ago volumes.
