August gas futures pulled back from recent gains, falling 21.5¢ Tuesday to $7.264 per million Btu. A bit of profit taking following a two-session 87.9¢ rally combined with some bearish tweaks to weather outlooks to let some steam out of the market. The 12-month strip fell 17.1¢ to $6.324; the 2023 calendar strip was down 10.8¢ to $5.39 (Futures contracts).
