In a Jun. 20 speech to the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group (Ensreg), Gupta argued that while the "post-Fukushima decade" has seen stakeholders focusing on learning safety lessons from the March 2011 disaster at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, "we are now entering a new decade" in which the main driver will be renewing "electricity-generating means all over the world."
