Iraq Downplays KRG Oil Company Plan

A top Iraqi official has said that talks over the future of the disputed Kurdish oil sector were ongoing, but effectively dismissed a proposal by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to revive the long-held idea of establishing its own oil companies, a move that would contradict a February high court ruling.
