The call for more Permian Basin gas takeaway capacity got a solid response this week as WhiteWater Midstream and its partners, including MPLX and Devon Energy, announced they had sanctioned the Matterhorn Express Pipeline. But wary downstream markets aren't as enthusiastic as supply is set to rise well before it's needed.
