Until 2020, much of that growth had been targeted within Europe. But since then, TotalEnergies has been chasing projects in markets offering high-growth demand such as India, the US and Qatar, while pursuing low-cost renewable generation — possibly for green hydrogen production — in places like Chile, or multienergy projects in countries such as Iraq.
