April gas futures fell 6.7¢ to $4.658 per million Btu, reversing an early plunge into the low $4.50s. April fell to $4.506 before turning around despite a very bullish weather outlook. That could indicate a spring floor with a $4 handle could be forming to ensure relatively low storage inventories are rebuilt. The 12-month strip fell 7.2¢ to $4.826; the 2023 calendar strip was off 2.1¢ to $3.963 (Futures contracts).
