With a rapprochement between Israel and Turkey potentially in the cards, the Turkish president has revived a near decade-old plan to pipe Israeli gas to Turkey and then on to Europe. Sources in both countries insist any discussions are at a very early stage, but a possible disruption to Russian gas shipments to Europe because of war in Ukraine makes talk of alternative supply a very hot topic.
