China's slow emergence from the Covid-19 pandemic casts a long shadow over Asia's jet fuel demand outlook. The government's zero-Covid policy has transformed one of the world's fastest-growing markets into one of the slowest to recover. Even the winter Olympic Games currently taking place in Beijing have generated little upward momentum in Chinese domestic and international air travel due to the ban on spectators.
