In a major reversal, March gas futures plunged 61.3¢ Thursday to $4.888 per million Btu, giving back much of Wednesday's 75¢ gain. The move that preceded the largest storage draw this season was pegged to revised outlooks that moderated coming cold. The 12-month strip fell 32.4¢ to $4.868; the 2023 calendar strip was off 12.3¢ to $3.797 (Futures contracts).
