Oil futures traded sideways on Wednesday, with Brent and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) both shedding about $2 in session before recouping their losses into the close.

Brent futures settled 67¢ higher at $93.96 per barrel, while US benchmark West Texas Intermediate finished up 71¢ at $90.39/bbl.
