  • TotalEnergies has big renewable power ambitions, targeting a tenfold expansion of gross installed solar and wind capacity to 100 gigawatts by 2030. 
  • The jury’s still out on whether this is achievable, but the initial signs are that expansion is already happening and at an accelerating rate. 
  • Such radical expansion is being enabled by an equally ambitious corporate restructuring, which should see a very different Total emerge within the next few years.
