Statewide Gas Ban Proposed

In her first state of the state address this week, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul came out in support of a statewide gas ban in new construction like that adopted by New York City late last year. So far, bans that seek to control emissions by electrifying new construction have only been adopted by local governments.
