February gas futures pressed higher Friday, gaining 10.4¢ to $3.916 per million Btu, up 18.6¢ for the week. With outlooks seeing more seasonable winter demand for the rest of the month, prompt month prices could soon regain a $4 handle. The 12-month strip rose 4.4¢ to $3.844; the 2023 calendar strip gained 3.3¢ to $3.472 (Futures contracts).
